Busy Bee Academy seeks to provide an environment where a life-long love of dance is developed and nurtured through high quality dance education, artistic excellence and exhilarating performances.
When it comes to dance, a child can walk into any number of classes today. The unfortunate fallout
of this is that classical forms are getting pushed aside in favour of modern, freestyle forms. But we at Busy Bee have chosen two major Western Classical forms – classical ballet and classical jazz.
Classical ballet is a traditional, formal style of ballet that adheres to techniques followed meticulously through centuries. Known and loved the world over for its aesthetics and rigorous technique, ballet’s graceful, flowing, and precise movements give it an ethereal quality that leaves us spellbound.
To properly execute jazz dance steps, it helps to have a firm classical ballet foundation so that bodies can develop with strength and agility. We offer a ballet syllabus for students that builds upon fundamental skills and development in dance, increasing complexity and difficulty as the grades ascend. ​
The curriculum encourages age appropriate creativity, musicality, and physicality. Our course incorporates Master Classes which are conducted online once a month by Peace Dance Academy (hyperlink), directly from the UK. This gives our students an exclusive opportunity to work with some of UK’s leading dance teachers and experience high level of expertise.
The benefits of these masterclasses can hardly be overemphasized – they help the young dancers to focus on bettering their techniques and learning new ones which in turn help to unleash their full potential.

EXAMINATIONS:​
Ballet exams are held annually and are required as a pre-requisite for the process.Our programme offers multiple performance opportunities, both in-house and the annual on-stage showcase.
This truly is a superb programme to initiate very young students into this extraordinary dance form.It is also an effort to motivate each one of them to become the ballerina of their dreams!
Who knows, one day they could be dancing across stages all over the country and beyond.
